Incorrect DOB on speeding fine – NSW?
i received a fine today (i cant really afford), i have no doubts i may have been going over the speed limit, but i was slowing down to turn a corner and the cop still got me with a maximum fine and 3 demerit points. i just noticed he as put the wrong date of birth on the ticket, would this really matter, or am i able to avoid having to pay $243???
The Court has 2 options – One to amend the ticket in the courtroom with the defendants permission or to rewrite the ticket placing the correct birth date on the ticket.
The ticket will not be thrown out for an administrative error.
