Is a moving violation ticket valid if the ticket has the wrong date?
The date of offence is 10/06/07 on the ticket but then at the section where the officer signed on the ticket has the date of 10/17/07
the ticket was issued in NJ for speeding
I know if this is a parking ticket in NYC, it will be discarded.
should I call the municipality to find out? is that a wise move? If I disputed that I might have to go to court which is about 50 miles away from my home
The citation is valid. The error can be amended in court.
