Singles Dating Holidays
Do you lower your standards at the Holidays ?
I notice a lot of friends who were happily single or broken up before Thanksgiving have suddenly started dating any old body or getting back together with old boyfriends the closer it gets to Xmas/Hanukkah and New Years Eve.
Is this weird or do many people get lonely and desperate at the Holidays and have to date someone rather than be alone ?
I would rather be single than ever settle.
Do other people do this too around the Holidays ? (Shack up rather than be single)
You know, I always get more hits online and contact from my profiles around this time of year (from t’giving through the New Year) than any other time of year…
No, my standards don’t get lowered but I sure have more opportunity to choose during the holidays (and often choose none)…
I do think some people have an issue about being single during the holidays though, and will seek out a partner during that time…they’re typically not still together by Valentine’s Day…
