Why there are so many Kim, Lee, and Park?
I never knew about that rule and I was born there. The reason why there are so many Kim, Lee, and Park is because… there are only about 200 last names in Korea. Second Many nobles’ family names were Kim, Lee and Park. When they found themselves broke and poor, they started selling their last names to peasants who wanted to get rid of peasant status. It’s like a caste system but you pay to move up a level.
