im dating this guy online, but how do i know he actually likes me?? please help!?
ok so we met on this online chat game last holidayz, so we talked every day, we got to no each other and he told me he loves me and stuff, but he lives all the way in usa while im stuck in NZ. we agreed that we will meet up after we both finished high skool, which i think is so romantic! but then the holidays finished and i could only see him in the weekends and sometimes hes not there for weeks. i start to ask myself does he actually like me or is this just a joke. but when i saw him again it was like i was put under a spell all over again by his sweetness, kindness, and caringness. Then i got an email adress and things took a turn for the worse, he doesnt email unless i email him first. i feel so upset. i really like him but….. i cant live like this, wat should i do? break up or keep going?

i went through the exact same thing than you. i “dated” someone online from 17 till 21 years old, and it was all just an illusion. i couldnt stand to have a long distance relationship, i wanted a real boyfriend so i “left” him and moved on. a few months later i met someone on a trip, we are now married and live together.
im not going to tell you to break up with him. but for your own sake, keep your options open. do it for you. im sure he is not backing off to any opportunity either. that means, go out, have fun, meet new people, and allow yourself to find love in the real world too. dont cut yourself up into a virtual fantasy.
