why wont any mmo game patchers run on my vista? ?
i already turned all firewalls and antiviruses off. And all games installed before a certain date still work, but after i DLed ragnarok online, it wouldn’t install, and after i uninstalled it, no mmo game patchers work (except for the ones installed before that date). BTW the games all say on the sys req that they run on Vistas.
Are you trying to install patches with an admin account? Some installers won’t work if you’re not logged into the computer’s main account. A way to get around this for Ragnarok is to use the info on the link below.
Most other MMOs will have a similar answer on their FAQ with directions about the specific folders to use, since this seems to be a common problem with Vista.
