Meet Singles In Ireland

Should I become his friend or Not?
met the most amazing guy, we talked for hours. He then asked me out again and we had so much fun and he kissed me, then we went out again and spent all day and all night together and kissed nothing more. Then he goes and tells me he is so sorry but he has only been single for 6 months and got out of a 5 year relationship. He needs closure. I gave him a text saying, that im glad he told me before i made a huge mistake (if I went and had sex with him which I did NOT). He then said he was pretty torn because he likes me and enjoys my company. I told him we could just be friends.. is that it?? I mean I meet the love of my life and Im never meant to see him again, he has not text me back after he wrote sure we can be friends, chat soon. His ex girlfriend is back in Ireland and he moved to Australia… what do I do?? do I ask him out as friends, or wait until he asks me out or try try try to forget the person who could have been the one for me????
I know that this’ll sound bad (especially with my question up here..) But, I think you should still be friends. While a long distance relationship is hard and demanding (trust me, I’ve been there) you still get alot of help from it. If he really likes you, and if you REALLY like him. It should be prominent. You should text him back, and see what happens from there.. The worst that could happen is him turning you down. But be friends, and have hope.. But don’t stop looking for your other half, just because you think it might be him.
