Serious question about permanent change in eating habits?

About three years ago, I decided to change my eating habits indefinitely for my health. My way of thinking is to only eat when I am hungry or when my body needs it. Lately I have noticed that when I eat food that I don’t usually eat my stomach hurts, I get bloated and feel uncomfortable. I hate feeling like this and my best remedy has been to quit eating until the problem subsides. Why is this? It’s probably not healthy, but to date I am still kicking and breathing and overall feel very good everyday. Thanks for the answers.
I know it’s not heartburn. Before, I knew what heartburn was. I mostly eat tuna, tuna, tuna, poultry very little beef, vegatbles give me way too much gas. I eat nut very little fruits. On another note I usually have a BM about every five days.

If it is something that you don’t usually eat, you might want to keep a list of the foods that make you feel this way, because it might be a food allergy. Then use the process of illimination to figure out what is causing the bloating. Many times it is milk or other dairy products, or foods that are high in fiber.
