Dating Warning Signs
What are the warning signs to look for in a woman who is on the rebound?
I’ve been dating my current gf for about 6 months. Told me she told her ex she loved him. It was a long distance relationship (several states away) in which he cheated on her and she broke it off. Their relationship lasted about 4-5 months total. Things ended there back in late Dec and we started dating around end of July so its almost been a full year since they broke up. Should I be concerned with being the rebound? What are some signs I should look for? So far things seem to be going ok, but I still have my doubts sometimes she may not be over him even though I have been her longest relationship. She has not said she loves me by the way…we’ve talked about that and she says she isn’t ready to say it just yet. Possilby afraid of being hurt again if she verbalizes it to me? Her actions make me think she loves me and she’s told me that she feels comfortable with me and likes spending time together. She isn’t needy or clingy and is a very independent person as well.
1. Her ex is still living with her.
2. She calls her ex’s name instead of yours.
3. She feeds you food her ex liked.
4. She wants you to pick up her ex for dinner.
5. You have to use her ex’s condoms.
6. Her car still has that ex smell to it.
7. She has a clean thick photo album of her and her ex next to the dusty bible and national geographics.
8. She has pictures on the wall of her ex.
9. She wont let you erase “his” programs off the dvr.
10. Her cellphone ringtone for her ex is “lost in love.”
