Dating Ukraine
i’m searching for someone that maybe lived in the Ukraine and than immigrated to Canada?
ok, it’s a bit of a long story. my aunt has in her pocession a Bible that was published in 1870. we have no idea how it came here to Canada, and those people are in no way related to us. anyway, what she wants to do is return the bible to the family. in the cover of the Bible was a list of names, of the couples children, and a few major events that happened during the year. the couples name is Andreas and Margarete Bieber, and they lived in Landestrue, Ukraine. the date is Nov.15, 1870. if the Bible evenutally ended up in Manitoba, Canada, chances are thier decendants or even the couple themselves immigrated either to Canada or North or South Dakota.
so my question is, is there any way i could find their decendants? is there a site that would allow me to find them?

Try going to Ancestry.com or Geneology.com (I think), looking up the surname and combinations of the name, date, and location. You should come up with people who are related, or might be. Alternately you can post on geneology boards and see if anyone else can help you more directly.
