Only the younger generation want to join the Union,but the oldest one really don’t want to see PR becoming a State.sadly to say but Puerto Ricans don’t have a single identity and they won’t until they declared independence from the Big Giant.the majority of the nations around the world are and gained their independence from other nations even the US too.it’s a matter of national pride not to have others control our land and be independent like most Latin America countries except PR.
