What does “projected release date” mean concerning prisoners?
My fiance has a projected release date for March 25, 2010 and I would like to know if this is the final day that they could keep him, will he come home on or around that date?
Projected is exactly that: Anticipated, it can change, but likely not by much, a few days, due to procedure, provided he does not get into trouble during the interim.
