Dating Moving Too Fast
Dating this girl who has had bad relationships before, is moving too fast and acting clingy already?
I’ve known this girl for 5 years, since high school. Me and my gf of 2 years broke up 3 weeks ago and I already had sex with this girl. I’ve always liked her in high school and now out of nowhere we hook up. (drunkenly after going out lol)…. I got 93 texts from her this weekend!! She keeps telling me how im the nicest guy shes ever been interested in and that she wishes I could be with her tonight to sleep next to her etc etc.
She has had bad relationships in the past where guys really mistreated her, and I’m a decent guy im no P.O.S. so is this clingyness or just her being overwhelmed that I’m treating her well and she is trying to relay on how much she appreciates it?
Given my recent break up I don’t want to move too fast, or maybe even want a relationship. How should I handle this? I’ve told her to take it slow yet she’s still being very aggressive with affection. What should I do?
i’d give her a TON of space, since i try never to advise someone to leave their significant other. this girl has got some stuff to get through and she’d rather use you as a crutch as opposed to fixing her issues.
i’d run…that’s just my personal opinion.
