Should I be concerned about my Stimulus rebate?
Im asking because, i had my taxes direct deposited, i paid for my taxes to be done(turbo tax) with my bank debit card. So I assumed my scheduled date of deposit would be May 16 (last two digits are 94). So i checked the website status this morning and it says no information is available, so i called the hotline numbers and received the same response.
Should I be concerned a little? The website says information should be available about a week before deposit, yet there is no info. Like most Americans, im in dire need of gas/grocery/bill money.
Give it another few hours to show up on the site.
A lot of people have thought they were getting direct deposit but for whatever reason aren’t, so are assuming they’ll get it earlier than they really are.
Check your bank statement from when the original refund came – if it says “US Treasury” you should be OK for direct deposit as long as that account is still open, and you didn’t split your refund into multiple accounts. Otherwise, you’ll get a paper check
