i recently got a fender p bass and ampeg ba115 and i wanted to know what settings on the amp i could get to sound like him on songs like fisrt date
On the bass itself, crank it.
On the amp, sounds like decently high mids and treble, with the bass hovering around high noon or so… And I hate to advise playing with a pick, but that’s part of the sound too. I’d say start from there, and just tweak it until it sounds right like the rest of us do.
