Why is it that kid shows encourage dating at a young age?
Kids really aren’t supposed to date until aged at least thirteen and really shouldn’t be “kissing” until that age, maybe 14. But television shows have kids age ten all lovey-dovey dating kissing and blah blah. Like the cartoon show All Grown Up, they had Tommy who was what 11 or 12 was dating and got his first kiss. And kid shows such as Hannah Montana may have like 16 year old girls, but they talk all about dating. So I don’t get it! Why is this? And are there any shows my younger sister who is only 8 could watch that don’t have this kind of stuff in it, she finds kissing and that jazz repulsive.
Think about it. Most kids have dated and kissed since then. I had my first kiss at 11. And also if you think about, look how many kids are sexually active. Better yet having Casual sex. Look how many shows there are about teenage pregnacy. Maybe, they showed that episode of All Grown Up (I loved that show by that way) to make kids think about it more, because at the end of that didn’t they have to go their seprate ways? Is it the episode i’m thinking of at the ski resort. But still. In reality, many kids have had their first kiss by then, and/or had sex.
