Carbon Dating Oil
were the studies true that the world really is not a million years old?
there were studies that say that the earth was truly around 2000 – 6000 yrs old (I don’t know if that really was). they say that if it’s a million years, then all the oil in the earth must have to be exhausted right now and the carbon dating stands also one proof of the earth’s age. Which do you believe – a million or a thousand years old?
neither, more like 4.5 billion.
the proof has nothing to do with carbon dating (organic).
it’s in the rocks.
radioactive isotopes decay at a known rate. find a sample that took 4.5 billion years to reach that state and it’s pretty hard to argue that rock has been here a shorter amount of time. it could be older, but it cannot be any younger.
