we found a siberian husky of our choice, from a breeder that also has other pups listed. we have spoken to who through email and over the phone, even through text messages. she is so helpful, she sent us additional pictures of the puppy, and even took pictures with a sign, with his birthdate, our names, and the days date. her daughter is actually in some of the pictures, we really think she’s legit. we would rather go to her location and pay in person and get the dog, but its far away. so her first choice was to use paypal. but we dont do paypal..dont have an acc. So her second choice was with a moneygram at walmart. we read her reviews on the website, and they are all GREAT! we asked her for the total amount, already knowing the total, we were seeing if she would give us the same total, and she did.
what do you think?? should we worry. i know buying a dog from the internet isnt the BEST way to go. but please tell us what you think..
is this a scam ?
I checked out the web site and it sounds legitimate to me. It is the
breeder that you have to worry about. But I feel like most of the other
people on here that you shouldn’t buy over the internet. You should
buy in person so you can see the parents and the puppy before you
pay.A good breeder would also like to check you out before selling.
When I bought my German shepherd the breeder kept me there for
over an hour while she and her husband casually asked different
questions, and I in turn did a lot of research on breeders, so I had
an opportunity to question them. We were all very satisfied when it
was over.
I would call every vets office in the area and ask them if they know
of any good breeders. Also the AKC carries lists of breeders and
list them by the area that you live in. Also read about what you
should be asking a breeder and what to look for in a good breeder.
I typed in German shepherd breeders and came up with thousands
of web sites that give a world of information.
